In this interview, I discussed my experiences participating in One Young World, an international leadership program for young people, as well as my personal background, beliefs, and future prospects.
My career has evolved from journalism to editing business books, which has significantly shaped my perspective and values. Now, studying business and politics in Belgium at the graduate level has allowed me to view the world from a wider lens.
This interview traces my journey from when I first encountered One Young World to the present day. While reflecting on my past experiences and challenges, I also conveyed messages for future leaders. Through sharing my experiences, I hope that more people will seize the opportunity to challenge themselves in this wonderful program.
Moreover, we discussed the current issues in Japan and around the world, including the impacts of COVID-19, gender equality, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
